The book is &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.louisefili.com\/blog\/?p=449\" target=\"_blank\">Scripts: Elegant Lettering from Design&#8217;s Golden Age<\/a>&#8221; by the dynamic duo of <a href=\"http:\/\/imprint.printmag.com\/daily-heller\/\" target=\"_blank\">Steven Heller<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.louisefili.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Louise Fili<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alphabetsoupblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Scripts.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1358\" title=\"Scripts\" src=\"http:\/\/alphabetsoupblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Scripts.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"499\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"http:\/\/alphabetsoupblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Scripts.jpg 499w, http:\/\/alphabetsoupblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Scripts-300x210.jpg 300w, http:\/\/alphabetsoupblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Scripts-427x300.jpg 427w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re like me, and love type\u2014especially vintage scripts\u2014you <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>must <\/em><\/span>get this book. I could spend days poring over this book. It is as rich a collection of typographic material as I have seen in years\u2014and much of it I have never seen before. I LOVE this book!<\/p>\n<p>The book is readily available from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Scripts-Elegant-Lettering-Designs-Golden\/dp\/0500515689\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1304429552&amp;sr=8-1\" target=\"_blank\">Amazon.com<\/a>, but (personal note) why not shop locally and check out the book in person at your nearby (non-chain) bookstore?
