{"id":619,"date":"2010-02-10T02:15:42","date_gmt":"2010-02-10T06:15:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alphabetsoupblog.com\/?p=619"},"modified":"2016-03-06T18:20:47","modified_gmt":"2016-03-07T02:20:47","slug":"deliscript-lauded-by-type-directors-club","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/alphabetsoupblog.com\/?p=619","title":{"rendered":"Deliscript Lauded by Type Directors Club"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was extremely excited to learn recently that my <a title=\"Deliscript\" href=\"http:\/\/michaeldoret.com\/deliscript\" target=\"_blank\">Deliscript<\/a> font family (<a title=\"Alphabet Soup Type Founders\" href=\"http:\/\/michaeldoret.com\/alphabetsoup\" target=\"_blank\">Alphabet Soup&#8217;s<\/a> major font project of 2009) was chosen by the <a href=\"http:\/\/tdc.org\/tdc\/about\" target=\"_blank\">Type Directors Club<\/a> to receive their prestigious &#8220;Certificate of Excellence in Type Design&#8221; in the display fonts category for their <a href=\"http:\/\/tdc.org\/tdc\/tdc2-2010-winners\" target=\"_blank\">TDC\u00b2 2010 Typeface Design Competition<\/a>`. Deliscript was one of only 16 designs chosen from the many typefaces entered from 29 countries.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alphabetsoupblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Deliscript_Upright_Annual-RGB.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1866\" title=\"Deliscript_Upright_Annual-RGB\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/alphabetsoupblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Deliscript_Upright_Annual-RGB-557x600.png\" width=\"557\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"http:\/\/alphabetsoupblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Deliscript_Upright_Annual-RGB-557x600.png 557w, http:\/\/alphabetsoupblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Deliscript_Upright_Annual-RGB.png 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 557px) 100vw, 557px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Deliscript will be showcased in TDC\u00b2 2010, will be on display in New York City throughout the summer of 2010, and will be published in TDC&#8217;s <em>Typography 31<\/em>, the Annual of the Type Directors Club.
